VACANCY – WITS ISOTOPE GEOSCIENCE LABORATORY: GRADE TE 09 LABORATORY SCIENTIST
We seek to appoint a Laboratory Scientist in the newly created, state-of-the-art Wits Isotope Geoscience Laboratory. This metal-free, ultra-clean (Class100-10) facility is geared to process geological samples using isotope dilution and ion exchange chromatography for a range of isotopic analyses. The Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for management and daily nada operation of the laboratory, as well as training of laboratory users and technique development. In addition, the scientist will also be encouraged to advance his or her own research program within the School of Geosciences.
