Limpopo Minerals and Trade Show, 10 – 12 November 2015

The Fossil Fuel Foundation and the Limpopo Provincial Government will host the Limpopo Minerals and Trade Show on 10 – 12 November 2015 at the Park Hotel in Mokopane. This Minerals Conference and Trade Show aims to build on the information provided in the 2012 and 2013 Coal Conferences. The meeting is planned at a critical juncture in the mining development of South Africa. While there are numerous  rmacy prospecting licenses for coal and exploration rights for gas in the pipeline there are as yet only about three operating coal mines and another three near start-up coal mines and no operating gas projects. By contrast the region boasts at least 10 large platinum mines, several chrome operations and as well as copper and industrial mineral mines (phosphate and andalusite).
