Prof Richard Minnitt, FAusIMM,JCI Professor of Mineral Resources and Reserves at the University of the Witwatersrand, was awarded the Pierre Gy Sampling Gold Medal at the conference for Excellence in Teaching and Application of the Theory of Sampling at the Eighth lbuterol World Conference on Sampling and Blending (WSCB8), presented by AusIMM and CSIRO in Perth in May.
